Ya se dieron a conocer las nominaciones de los Premios Emmy 2025; "Severance" es la gran contendiente
Vuelve la gran fiesta de la televisión estadounidense, la 77ª edición de los premios Emmy, que se llevará a cabo el 14 de septiembre en el Live Peacock Theatre de Los Ángeles, y será conducida por Nate Bargatz.
Este año, la competencia está más reñida que nunca, con producciones aclamadas como "Severance" (27 ), "El Pingüino" (24), "The Studio" (23 ) y "The Bear" (13), liderando las principales nominaciones.
Así, "Severance" , de Apple TV+, se posiciona como la gran contendiente en drama. Narra la historia de un empleado cuya empresa separa quirúrgicamente los recuerdos laborales de los personales.
Competirá como mejor serie de drama con "Andor" (Disney+, con 14 nominaciones en total); "The White Lotus" (HBO Max, con 23); "The Last of Us" (HBO Max, 16); "The Diplomat" (Netflix, 2); "The Pitt" (HBO Max, 13); "Paradise" (Hulu, 4) y "Slow Horses" (Apple TV+, 5).
Sus protagonistas, Britt Lower y Adam Scott, también fueron nominados como mejor actriz y mejor actor de drama. Lower comparte terna con Bella Ramsey ('"he Last of Us"), Keri Russell ("The Diplomat"), Kathy Bates ("Matlock") y Sharon Horgan ("Bad Sisters").
Scott, por su parte, luchará por el Emmy con Pedro Pascal ('"The Last of Us'"), Sterlin K, Brown ("Paradise"), Noah Wyle ("The Pitt") y el legendario Gary Oldman ("Slow Horses")
El evento será transmitido en vivo por CBS, con una cobertura especial desde las 17:00 horas (hora del centro de México) dedicada a la alfombra roja y la ceremonia principal a partir de las 18:00 horas.
La academia de televisión dio a conocer los primeros nominados, de la mano de Brenda Song y Harvey Guillén, quienes anunciaron las ternas desde el Wolf Theatre de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias de la Televisión de EE UU en North Hollywood.
